Quick Life Update

Wow, so its been a minute since I've posted on this blog... I thought you all deserve an update/explanation. I have A LOT of things going on in my life at the moment, and I guess the main reason I haven't posted is because I am super busy, and find it hard to find time to write on here. I wish I did it more though, because I realized that writing has been an outlet for me to express my thoughts and the many things that are circulating in my head. This blog has given me the opportunity to convey my feelings and opinions on topics that I've found hard to talk about. Which is something I am also working on at the moment, learning how to effectively talk and communicate. However, its been a process, and I'm trying to find my OWN voice and my limitations. I've also been thinking about if the things I want to talk about, are even worth talking about, if you get what I am saying... Like I previously said, its been a long process and I am still trying to figure it out. On top of this, I am also very academically and socially busy. I also find myself very busy with my job as a Resident Assistant. I am trying not to spread myself so thin; but I'm not very good at saying no, and I never want to let anyone down. I guess that something else I can work on too. Trying to stay on top of everything, AND still trying to find time for myself has been a struggle. It's killing me too, because I am typically good at balancing my priorities. I am slowly coming to the realization that this year could well be a great opportunity for me to grow immensely. Now, it is up to me to make the changes need to grow, and that is what I am currently doing. So during this process, I have been a little MIA, and it may be like that until I figure shit out. The topics that I originally wanted to address through this blog has grown as well. There are so many issues affecting Indian Country that I want to make more people aware of. So, if I find the time, I may make an exception and write a good ole opinionated blog post in the future. We'll just have to see.
